Join us as a LAUSD volunteer!

At Richland, we love to have parents volunteering: in the classrooms, during field trips, on campus and way more. Volunteering with the children is different than volunteering on Boosters' committees as you will probably work directly with children. For that reason, you need to follow some steps, required by LAUSD.

Note: all volunteers must sign-in in the Main Office to get their badge and will be assigned to a specific area/duties on campus by the Principal.

OPTION A : YOU NEVER VOLUNTEERED

FOLLOW THESE  STEPS:

1. Read the LAUSD Volunteer Guide

2. Get fingerprint clearance (if applicable)

3. Get TB clearance (if necessary)

4. Apply on the LAUSD website

5. Wait until you get approved

OPTION B : YOU ARE A RETURNING VOLUNTEER FROM LAST YEAR

FOLLOW THESE STEPS:

1. Read the LAUSD Volunteer Guide

2. Re-apply on the LAUSD website

3. Wait until you get approved
